Rule of Number Coding
Metro Manila and selected cities are subject to Number Coding Scheme implemented by Metro Manila Development System.
Vehicle which has specific last digit of plate No. has restricted time to drive in the cities.

| 3 or 4 | Tuesday |
| 5 or 6 | Wednesday |
| 7 or 8 | Thursday |
| 9 or 0 | Friday |
Restricted time you cannot drive varies depending on the city. Please refer to here for updated info.
Examples
Q: City: Makati (where Toyota RentαCar station located)
A: Coding hours: 7:00-19:00
Q: City: Quezon City, Pasig, Pasay, Manila, etc.
A: Coding hours: 7:00-10:00 and 17:00-20:00
Hybrid vehicles are exempted from Number Coding Scheme and you can drive it any day.
